A few interesting studies appeared. CEGOS, a human resources related French consultancy company, has published a study illustrating the steady growth of e-learning practice in French companies. Simulations and quizes are popular tools, especially in respect to learning about daily practice. Somewhat to my surprise, an important minority of people mentioned blogs as important sources of e-learning on the workfloor.
The OECD published "Education at a glance". An overview study of what how education in general is progressing (or at least moving) in the world. Also a reasonable interest for technology and learning, but still a long way to go.
Not really related to technology, but instead to learning, I refer here to a very nice project Katha. Reading through their website, one can see how important attitude, belief, learner orientation etc are. An interesting and challenging project, for those that want to take learning seriously.
