The Unesco, launching the decenium of Education for Sustainable Development, has published an interesting report "Building Knowledge Societies", amongst others arguing the difference between knowledge management and information management. Needless to stress that this difference has important consequences for education, and even more so for "education for development". Given our involvement in the Global Compact program, this is a theme that we are certainly elaborating in the coming years. Amongst others we launch in September 2006 an MSc in NGO Management and Good Governance. More about this later.
