The March-May 2005 issue of Shift (Institute of noetic sciencies) is completely devoted to creativity. Anybody in need for and necessity of an improved creativity, and who would not, should read this. Some articles challenge the notion of human progress; others elaborate on the paradox, breakthrough, doubt and certainty;yet others deal with leadership (referring to Ghandi) and cultural transformation. However what stroke me most was a book review of the book "Science and the Akashic Field". As I already argued in earlier posts (on the Bogdanov singularity; and more recently on the self organisation of language) classical science seems to have difficulties to accept creativity of others, leave apart to be creative themselves.
The book attempts to draw on cosmology, quantum physics, biology and consciousness studies in order to create a transversal understanding on the reality in which we live. As you can see from my blog, it is equally my interest to combine a number of these developments, in order to come to a "quantum interpretation of business". Allow me to make a pre-announcement for my next book to be published in the autumn: Complexity, organisations and learning: the quantumstructure of business (Routledge). A preview of some chapters (in French) is already available on this blog. Closer to the hard financial markets, with immediat evidence on the performance of theories, I can suggest you to read the latest of Mandelbrot: The (mis)behavior of markets.
Information (as mind perceiving difference in energy) and a coherent theory on energy are probably the missing links for progressing our understanding. Let creativity help us progress.
